This initiative aims to provide a safe and supportive space for those who feel vulnerable during the celebration of the carnival of Cadiz. From now on, our office will not only serve as a Violet Point during the festivities, but will remain active indefinitely as a place of reference to combat gender violence.
What is a Violet Dot?
The Violet Points are safe spaces where anyone can go to receive information, help or support in case of suffering or witnessing a situation of gender-based violence. They are designed to promote a respectful and inclusive environment.
A safe carnival for everyone
The carnival of Cadiz is a celebration full of joy, creativity and tradition. From CCCA, we also want these festivities to be synonymous with respect and safety for everyone. Therefore, we encourage merchants, neighbors and visitors to join this cause, creating together a safe and egalitarian environment.
We invite you to enjoy the carnival, walk our streets and support local commerce, knowing that Cádiz Centro Comercial Abierto is committed to a future free of violence.
