Casa Angelita, "Tradición y Gloria Bendita", is a recreation of the old eateries, a place where you can have a bite to eat in a good atmosphere; it is not a place for important banquets, and it is not intended to be booked in advance. The bar's name is a tribute to Ángela, the typical "chiquita" who came from Tierra Alta and has done everything: from being a cook to a waitress, running her own business for years, and that is why this is our best tribute to her. The menu features cold tapas such as: Gamba ensalada, Papas Aliñás. anchovies, asparagus from Navarre and things like the sardine in vinegar and tomato sauce and our Gildas. Different typical Cádiz fritters such as "los Chocos" or "la Caella en Adobo", our homemade cod pie and of course the Shrimp Tortillas. Croquetas or chicken in adobo with Amontillado Sherry are also among the favorites. And there are always daily stews. Vegetarian dishes such as artichokes and leeks can also be sampled, among others. Furthermore, cheeses and cured meats from the area and a select assortment of first-class canned foods such as mussels and berberechos can be enjoyed. This traditional cuisine, "of all time", can be accompanied by local drinks such as wines from Jerez and Sanlúcar or a "well-chilled beer". And don't forget to consult our suggestions with the Day's Dishes and Fish. The decor of the restaurant bears the stamp of Gaspar Sobrino, well known in the province for his work in other restaurants and gastronomic spaces. A classic, rustic place, but with a contemporary modern touch, full of noble materials such as clay, rope, wood and tiles from the past. Rustic but with glamour, of "the Spain of all time"; a place that, like the wine, will become even more beautiful over time.
